St Dyfrig's Church, Treforest

St Dyfrig's Catholic Church is located in Treforest and serves Pontypridd and the surrounding area. Worshippers come from Cilfynydd and Ynysybwl in the north, Llantwit Fardre, Church Village and Gwaelod-y-Garth to the south.

We are very close to the main site of University of Glamorgan, and are the only Catholic Church easily accessible by students living in or near Treforest.

Our Sunday morning Mass boasts a keen choir and you are assured of a warm welcome at our coffee morning afterwards.

In addition to daily Mass, the Church is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays, with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 2 p.m..

We run a regular FairTrade stall and regular social events, and join with the wider local Christian community in the life of Pontypridd Christians Together.

Do come and join us for worship, at 6.00 p.m. on Saturday evenings, or at 10.00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We look forward to meeting you!
